Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reaver (“the Software”), operated by Bean Local, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

2. License

Reaver is commercial software. Upon purchase of a license, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software within the site and destination limits of your license tier.

The Free edition grants a limited license for evaluation and non-commercial use for a single site (WordPress or custom path) with local storage only.

3. License Tiers

Free: 1 site. Local storage only. Community support via the public Q&A on this site.

Solo: 1 site. 1 offsite destination. REST API and built-in MCP server. Email support. Billed annually.

Starter: Up to 5 sites. 1 offsite destination. REST API and built-in MCP server. Email support. Billed annually.

Agency: Up to 100 sites. Unlimited offsite destinations. Priority support. Billed annually.

Scale: Up to 250 sites. Unlimited offsite destinations. Priority support. Billed annually.

Sites include auto-discovered WordPress installs and custom path repositories managed by Reaver. Paid plans include the REST API and built-in MCP server.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Distribute, sublicense, or resell the Software
  • Use the Software to provide a managed backup service to third parties without a separate agreement
  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

5. Payment and Billing

Paid licenses are billed annually. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.

Subscription renewals are automatic unless canceled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

All paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are available for subscription renewals.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that backups will be error-free or that data loss will not occur. You are responsible for verifying the integrity of your backups.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Bean Local, LLC, Reaver, or its authors be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or service interruption.

9. Data Collection

Anonymous product statistics (limited technical metrics only) default on for all editions. You may opt out at any time via anonymous_statistics. Free use treats limited stats as part of free limited use; paid plans use the same default and opt-out. See the Privacy Policy.

Paid versions and accounts require registration with your name and email for license management and support.

10. Community Q&A

The Community Q&A is a public how-do-I area on this website. It is not a separate forum and it does not use a second account — posting uses your existing Reaver website account. Anyone may read published posts without logging in.

You retain ownership of the words you post. You grant Bean Local, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and moderate that content so we can operate Community Q&A (including public HTML, Markdown exports, and search/AI discovery files). We may hide, retag, or remove posts that are spam, leak secrets, violate these terms, or are otherwise abusive. We do not promise that every question will be answered.

Do not post passwords, API tokens, private hostnames, backup logs, or other confidential material. Private bugs and screenshots that should not be public belong in Feedback.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
